Wealthy Scholar Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing youth with educational resources with a focus on financial literacy, mentorship, enrichment programs, and scholarships to thrive academically and beyond. We offer hands-on workshops, youth camps, and $500–$1,000 scholarships to help students reach their educational dreams. Our goal is to create opportunities and build a brighter future—one scholar at a time.

Our Story
The Wealthy Scholar Foundation Inc. was founded by Desiree McClendon, an educator, mentor, and passionate advocate for youth development. Having personally witnessed the barriers that many students face—especially in underserved communities—Desiree set out to create a foundation that would not only provide academic support, but also equip young minds with the tools to build lasting generational wealth.
Rooted in the belief that education and financial literacy are the cornerstones of long-term success, Wealthy Scholar Foundation Inc. exists to break cycles of poverty and expand opportunities for the next generation of scholars. We focus on serving students from low-income and underrepresented backgrounds through transformative programs that foster confidence, leadership, and economic empowerment.
